Carolyn was looking for a bespoke headboard for her double bed.
The dimensions were substantial (76 x 30 inches), and I gladly accepted the challenge, as it was a project I could beautifully bring to life.
She reached out to me through my Etsy Shop . Due to airline shipping restrictions for a piece of that size traveling from Madrid all the way to Missouri, USA, we agreed to craft it in two matching sections.
Additionally, because of space constraints, she preferred not to mount it on the wall. To solve this, we decided to attach sturdy pine wood legs to the back.
The headboard was created much like a puzzle, ensuring the joint offers a seamless visual flow. Both sections were securely fastened at the back using heavy-duty metal plates, guaranteeing a strong and reliable structure.
In just under two weeks of work, the headboard was crafted, thoroughly inspected, and ready to be shipped.
