This mosaic artwork is painted with natural stains: walnut in the corners and oak inside. All pieces are sanded and finished with a protective water-based varnish. The wood that occupies the central star shows its own natural color. I have cut and sanded each piece with attention to detail to highlight its smoothness and wood grain.
