Two modern headboards
Joana went through so many hurdles before finally finding the perfect custom headboards for her children’s bedrooms!
Her kids are now teenagers, and their bedrooms were starting to feel a bit too childish. She realized it was time for a change and decided to sit down with them to understand their tastes and preferences regarding furniture, paint, and overall decor.
One of the main elements the teenagers wanted to replace was their bed headboards. They were looking for something different, but they weren’t quite sure what to choose.
Joana spent weeks searching through furniture stores and interior design magazines. She told me her kids tagged along most of the time, but they couldn’t find anything that truly caught their eye or felt right.
Eventually, she found inspiration in this decorative wooden artwork. She showed it to her children, and once she got their enthusiastic approval, she reached out to me.
They specified the exact dimensions and requested a specific alternation of colors, as you can see in one of the modern headboards (white and wenge).
As soon as the pieces were finished, she asked a friend to help install them. When the kids came home and saw the transformation, the surprise was absolutely unforgettable.
