Martin had previously purchased two pieces from my Etsy shop. Two ready to ship decorative reclaimed wood artworks back in November 2023.
Then, in February 2024, he reached out again. He had a grand decor project in mind: a large-scale artwork measuring 2 meters by 70 centimeters, designed to sit beautifully above a natural, oiled oak sideboard.
He wanted to enjoy it right next to a wide window leading out to the terrace, where the views overlooking the Mediterranean were breathtakingly beautiful.
This wooden art piece was created in two parts, much like a puzzle, rendering the seam completely invisible once joined together.
People instinctively understand that these artistic creations become even more surprising and impressive the larger they are. A grand format allows for a deeper experience, revealing countless aesthetic details and mysterious patterns within the wood grain.
