Nuria contacted me and told me about her project. It consisted of creating a kitchen front and covering it with a decorative panel made of log slices.
She wanted to create a unique, warm, and cozy environment. The dimensions of the decorative panel of slices were large: 3 meters long and 54 cm high. I developed the work in three panels so that they would have continuity, and you wouldn’t see where one ended and the other began.
The decorative project was exciting for her, and as I sent her photos of the progress, her desire to see it installed grew. She couldn’t wait.
She was excited about creating a unique space that combined art and the kitchen.
Kookin Donosti is a space aimed at conducting cooking courses and workshops related to gastronomy.
Once the design works of the place in general and the kitchen area, in particular, were completed, Nuria sent me the final photos. The result is spectacular, as you can see. People who have seen it highlight the decorative log slice panel as the main focal point for its originality and beauty.
