Organic Decorative Panel of Wood Rounds
Nuria reached out to me to share her vision. Her project consisted of creating a kitchen backsplash and cladding it with an organic panel made from tree slices.
She wanted to craft a unique, warm, and welcoming atmosphere, but the dimensions were substantial: 3 meters long by 54 cm high. To achieve this, I developed the work across three separate panels, carefully designing them to maintain a fluid continuity so that the end of one panel and the beginning of the next completely disappeared. This way, they joined together seamlessly, just like a puzzle.
The entire design process was incredibly exciting for her. As I sent updates and photos of the progress from my workshop, her anticipation grew.
She simply couldn’t wait to see it installed. She was thrilled to create a bespoke space where art and culinary passion met.
Kookin Donosti is a venue dedicated to hosting cooking courses, culinary workshops, and gatherings.
Once the overall interior design of the space, and the kitchen area in particular, was completed, Nuria sent over the final photographs. As you can see, the result is absolutely spectacular.
