Martin lives on the French Riviera and had previously bought two works from my shop: two decorative paintings made from recycled wood that I had in stock at the time.

This happened in November 2023.

But in February 2024, he contacted me again because he had a large-scale project in mind. A piece measuring 2 meters by 70 centimeters to place above a natural oiled oak sideboard. He wanted to enjoy it next to a large window leading to the terrace with extraordinarily beautiful views of the beach.

The piece is created in two parts, like a puzzle, so the joint between them is imperceptible.

This is not the first time I have received large-scale orders. In fact, people understand that this artistic style is more impressive the larger it is, because the aesthetic details and mysterious patterns offered by the wood grain are innumerable.

But regardless of the review, Martin achieved two things:
